Peter & Diane Bakelaar

Missionaries

Nagoya, Japan

Peter and Diane have served in Japan as MTW missionaries since 1990. Peter’s responsibilities include evangelistic Bible studies, discipleship, and communication of the gospel in Japanese through special events and messages. Many of the events center around art since Peter has a BFA in illustration in addition to his master’s degree from Columbia International University Seminary & School of Ministry. Diane serves in many aspects of the team’s ministry including hospitality in the home.
