Sunday Night Activity

Where Children And Their Parents Grow And Thrive!

Who Comes

All families with children ages birth to 6th grade are invited to join us on Sunday evenings in the Education Building, Covenant Classroom! Nursery is provided for ages up to 2. Ages 2-6th grade are divided up into classes based on age or grade. 7th grade and up attend Youth Group during this time.

What We Do

Every parent who has heard "Let It Go" sung on repeat knows that children are great at memorization. We want to capitalize on this to teach them the basics of the Christian faith through scripture memorization and Catechism. The Catechism is simple questions and answers that lay a solid foundation of what we believe and why. We do this through fun songs, games, and activities. In the fall, we will also practice for the Christmas play.

What's Different

This year the children are working to memorize the Shorter Catechism for Young Children. In addition, the 2-3 year olds are learning Bible stories, the 4-5 year olds are learning what the Lord's Prayer and Apostles Creed mean, the 1st-3rd graders are learning about God’s covenant promises to his people, and our 4th-6th graders are learning the Westminster Shorter Catechism. We end the night with a meal! While the food is great, the fellowship is even better. We hope you'll join us!
